Responsibilities

MDS Assistant Coordinator - LPN or RN (Working as PRN)

 

The MDS Assistant Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the MDS Coordinator with the timely and accurate completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) including the Minimum Data Set (MDS), assisting in identifying the problems and potential care planning issues, coordinating completion of the Care Area Assessments (CAAs) and coordinating the interdisciplinary staff involvement in assessment and care planning while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Required Education: Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or LPN/RN training program

Required Experience: 2 years’ in long term care with working knowledge of all long term care regulatory requirements; MDS 3.0, RAI and care assessment process

Required License and/or Certification: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
