The MDS Coordinator RN is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) including the Minimum Data Set (MDS), assisting in identifying the problems and potential care planning issues, coordinating completion of the Care Area Assessments (CAAs) and coordinating the interdisciplinary staff involvement in assessment and care planning.
Associates degree in nursing from accredited college or university
2 years in long term care with working knowledge of all long term care regulatory requirements; MDS 3.0, resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) process
Required License and/or Certification:
Licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
