    Founded in 1884, Christian Care Communities is Kentucky’s largest faith-based not-for-profit provider of affordable senior retirement living and long-term care for Older Adults. Our statewide network of senior living communities provides more than a place to live—we provide a place to call “home.” Christian Care Communities serves Older Adults through an extensive network of senior communities and services, including: independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and adult day care.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the nonprofit’s Raiser’s Edge database; involved in the strategic planning and development of the database as the nonprofit grows, as well as troubleshooting issues on behalf of the users; personally interacts with donors and other funders around a Grateful Family Program by phone calls, electronic communications and regularly scheduled mailed correspondence and follow-ups through segmenting direct mail, individual and organization appeals, electronic communications, and honor/recognition programs. The position reports to the Vice President of Advancement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Raiser’s Edge donor database, including maintenance, user accounts, global changes, gift entry, reporting, queries, and data clean-up projects with the goal of providing current, consistent and accurate data.
    • Develop and deliver clear and accurate reporting and tracking vehicles and instructions for reports, dashboards and data extracts.
    • Reconcile and close monthly development financials on time.
    • Produce mailing lists, pledge reminders, and donor invoices on a timely basis. Prepare data merges.
    • Create and implement up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures for entry and reporting and ensure all entries conform to these procedures.
    • Develop, run and review timely donor reporting audits to ensure accurate gift entry and acknowledgment.
    • Manage credit card gift processing and document steps, including changes in the organization’s credit card processing.
    • Interact with donors and other funders around a Grateful Family Program by phone call, in person, electronic communication and regularly scheduled mailed correspondence and follow-ups.
    • Segmenting Grateful Family Program direct mail/email, individual and organization appeals, electronic communications, and honor/recognition programs.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum two years of experience in Raiser’s Edge, preferably as an administrator in a non-profit fundraising environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and a demonstrated ability to perform mail-merge functions
    • Strong ability and commitment to accuracy and database integrity
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and exercise independent action
    • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment
