    Founded in 1884, Christian Care Communities is Kentucky’s largest faith-based not-for-profit provider of affordable senior retirement living and long-term care for Older Adults. 


    The Sr. IT Help Desk Support position is responsible for providing technical support to a variety of application users (clinical, housing, Microsoft Office products) and conducting user training when requested.


    Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm

    • Documents and creates technical write-ups for IT and end user communication.
    • Researches and reviews new IT standards and assists with implementation.
    • Provides third-tier support for customer service and end user testing.
    • Helps to triage and route reported tickets.
    • Analyzes OS and Application event logs.
    • Analyzes and remediates Windows Analytics and compatibility issues.
    • Stage new equipment and applies OS images to meet company standards.
    • Refurbishes broken equipment.
    • Works in third party applications and contacts vendors when necessary.
    • Assists with Active Directory permission structure.
    • Assists with Cisco call manager changes.
    • Installs or assists in the installation of software and hardware at all physical sites.
    • Assists the Administrator and Solution Provider(s) with network, application, and systems troubleshooting.
    • Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate and friendly manner, always maintaining the “Golden Rule” approach; practices patience and kindness.


    Required Education:  

    Associate's degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school plus certification of at least a level of A+, Net + or MCP


    Required Experience:

    2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


    Preferred Experience:            

    2 years’ experience in supporting business applications and/or network infrastructure; nonprofit; senior living or long term care sector

    1. Excellent communication skills to include:
      • Ability to speak and read English
      • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
      • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
      • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, organizations and others
      • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
    2. Working knowledge of the following:
      • Microsoft Office 2010-2016, Exchange/Office, Active Directory
      • Windows Operating Systems required. Linux, Mac OS, IOS knowledge a plus
      • PC hardware, basic networking, Antivirus software, other common PC software
      • mobile devices to include iPhones and iPads, Androids, and other tablets
      • networked and stand-alone printers

    Business travel is a requirement of position:

    Use of fleet vehicles available for business travel.

    Proof of valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Travel to locations include eastern, central and western Kentucky.

    If personal vehicle is used to transport self or others; proof of insurance of $100,000 single limit of liability.
