    Responsibilities

    The Dining/Dietary Support Manager is primarily responsible for managing the dining services and providing nutritional services for elders, assessing elders' nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition programs and evaluating and reporting the results; managing the housekeeping and laundry operations, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units to ensure clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the elders, family members and employees.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:                                       

    High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

     

    Required Experience:                                     

    5 years’ experience in food service, hospital, or long-term care setting; 3 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role

     

    Required License and/or Certification:             

    ServSafe® Certificate completed within 6 months of employment
